The website giveaway is open to eligible businesses operating in South Africa.

It does not matter whether your business already has an old website that needs replacing or has never had a professional website before.

We are particularly interested in hearing from businesses where we believe a stronger website could make a meaningful difference to their visibility, credibility and ability to generate new enquiries.

How to Enter

Entering the Norsu Media website giveaway is simple.

Complete the competition entry form and tell us a little about your business, what you do, whether you currently have a website and why you believe a new website could make a difference.

Entries close at 23:59 SAST on 21 September 2026.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is required.

Tagging another South African business on our social media posts is completely optional and is not required to enter or win.

How We’ll Choose the Winner

This isn’t simply about picking a name from a hat.

After entries close, the Norsu Media team will review eligible applications and select the South African business where we believe a professionally designed new website could make the greatest impact.

We will consider factors including:

• The business’s current need for a new or improved website
• The potential impact a stronger online presence could have on the business
• The entrant’s business story
• Whether the business is suitable for the website package being offered

The selected business will be contacted directly and the winner will be announced on the Norsu Media South Africa Instagram page and the Norsu Media South Africa Facebook page on 23 September 2026.

Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this giveaway is Norsu Media South Africa (“Norsu Media ZA”, “Norsu Media”, “Norsu”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

Questions relating to the giveaway or these terms and conditions may be submitted through the contact details published on the Norsu Media South Africa website.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion opens on 7 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 South African Standard Time (SAST) on 21 September 2026.

Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.

The selected winner is scheduled to be announced on 23 September 2026.

3. Eligibility

The promotion is open to businesses operating in South Africa.

The person submitting an entry must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be the business owner or otherwise authorised to enter on behalf of the business
• Be able to provide the information and materials reasonably required for Norsu Media to complete the website if selected as the winner

Employees, contractors, agents and immediate family members of Norsu Media, as well as anyone directly involved in administering or judging the promotion, are not eligible to enter.

No purchase or payment is required to participate.

4. How to Enter

Eligible businesses must complete and submit the official Norsu Media ZA website giveaway entry form before the closing date.

Entrants may be asked to provide information including their name, business name, contact information, industry, current website where applicable and information about their business and website requirements.

Only one entry per business will be considered unless Norsu Media expressly states otherwise.

Following Norsu Media, liking or sharing promotional content, or tagging another business or person on social media is not required for entry and will not improve an entrant’s chances of being selected.

5. The Prize

One successful South African business will receive:

• Design and development of one new Norsu Media business website consisting of up to five standard pages
• Modern, mobile-responsive website design
• Standard contact or enquiry functionality
• Basic on-page SEO configuration
• Standard website analytics and tracking setup
• 12 consecutive months of Norsu Media website hosting for the website supplied as part of the prize

The precise website structure will be agreed between Norsu Media and the winner based on the business’s reasonable requirements and the scope of the prize.

Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing by Norsu Media, the prize does not include:

• Domain registration or renewal
• Business email services
• Ecommerce functionality
• Bespoke software or web applications
• Complex third-party integrations
• Paid plugins, software licences or subscriptions
• Professional photography or video production
• Paid advertising
• Extensive professional copywriting
• Ongoing website changes or maintenance beyond the services expressly included in the prize

Any additional services requested by the winner that fall outside the prize scope may be quoted separately. Purchasing additional services is entirely optional.

The winner will not be required to purchase any additional Norsu Media product or service in order to receive the prize.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Winner Selection

After the promotion closes, eligible entries will be reviewed by the Norsu Media team.

Entries will be assessed according to:

1. The demonstrated need for a new or improved website
2. The potential impact that a professionally designed website could have on the business
3. The entrant’s business story
4. The suitability of the business for the website package being offered

The successful entrant will be the eligible business receiving the strongest overall assessment against these criteria.

Norsu Media may contact shortlisted entrants to verify information supplied in their submissions or request additional information reasonably necessary to complete the selection process.

The judging decision will be made in good faith based on the published selection criteria.

7. Winner Notification and Announcement

The selected business will be contacted using the contact information supplied with its entry.

The winner is scheduled to be publicly announced through the Norsu Media South Africa Instagram page and the Norsu Media South Africa Facebook page on 23 September 2026.

Norsu Media will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected entrant.

If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven days of the first notification attempt, declines the prize, fails to provide information reasonably required to confirm eligibility, or is subsequently found to be ineligible, Norsu Media may select the next-highest-rated eligible entrant.

8. Website Project

The winning business must reasonably cooperate with Norsu Media during the website project and provide the information and materials required to complete the website.

These may include:

• Business logo and branding
• Company information
• Service or product information
• Contact details
• Photographs and images
• Existing website content where applicable
• Other content reasonably required for the agreed website pages

The website will be created using Norsu Media’s standard website design and development process.

The project timeline will begin once Norsu Media has received the materials reasonably required to start the project.

Completion dates may be affected by delays in receiving content or approvals from the winner, delays involving third-party services or circumstances outside Norsu Media’s reasonable control.

Norsu Media retains reasonable creative and technical discretion in delivering the website while taking the winner’s business, branding and reasonable requirements into account.

9. Hosting

The prize includes 12 consecutive months of website hosting supplied by Norsu Media for the winning website.

The complimentary hosting period will begin when the new website is made live or on another date agreed between Norsu Media and the winning business.

Before the complimentary hosting period ends, the winner may choose to continue hosting the website with Norsu Media at the applicable hosting rate at that time or make alternative hosting arrangements.

There is no obligation to continue using Norsu Media hosting after the complimentary 12-month period.

Any domain name, email service or other service not expressly included within the prize remains the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Publicity

Norsu Media may invite the winner to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the giveaway or the completed website project.

Norsu Media may also request permission to feature the completed website as part of its portfolio, social media content, website or a case study.

Participation in additional promotional or marketing activity is voluntary.

The winner may decline an invitation to have their personal image used or to personally participate in promotional activities.

11. Personal Information

Personal information submitted as part of an entry will be processed for purposes connected with:

• Administering the competition
• Assessing entries
• Communicating with entrants where necessary
• Verifying eligibility
• Selecting and contacting the successful entrant
• Delivering the prize

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable South African data-protection legislation and Norsu Media’s privacy policy.

Submitting an entry does not automatically constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications from Norsu Media.

12. Marketing Communications

Where entrants are offered the option to consent to receiving marketing communications from Norsu Media, that consent is voluntary and separate from entry into the giveaway.

Choosing not to receive marketing communications will not affect an entrant’s eligibility or the assessment of their entry.

Entrants who separately opt in may receive information about Norsu Media services, offers and other relevant communications using the communication methods to which they have consented.

Marketing consent may subsequently be withdrawn in accordance with Norsu Media’s applicable communication and privacy practices.

13. Instagram, Facebook and Meta

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that Instagram, Facebook and Meta are not responsible for the administration of the promotion, selection of the winner or fulfilment of the prize.

14. Disqualification and Fair Use

Norsu Media may disqualify an entry where it reasonably believes that the entry:

• Is fraudulent or intentionally misleading
• Has been submitted without proper authority from the relevant business
• Contains abusive or inappropriate material
• Has been duplicated in an attempt to manipulate the promotion
• Otherwise fails to comply with these terms and conditions

Norsu Media is not responsible for entries that are delayed, incomplete or cannot be submitted because of technical problems outside its reasonable control.

15. Changes or Cancellation

If circumstances outside Norsu Media’s reasonable control materially affect its ability to conduct the promotion as advertised, Norsu Media may reasonably amend, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to applicable South African law.

Any such decision will be made in a manner intended to avoid unfair prejudice to entrants whose rights have already arisen.

16. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

17. Governing Law

The promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
